Search and Rescue Training for Disaster Preparedness

The **Search and Rescue Training for Disaster Preparedness**, organized by the **Rotary Club of Itahari** under the **District Grant of Rotary International District 3292** from **21–23 June 2026**, enhanced the disaster response capacity of Municipal Police from Sundar Haraicha, Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City, Ramdhuni, and Barah Municipalities, along with coworkers from **SOS Children's Village Itahari** and Rotarians. Facilitated by the **Armed Police Force (APF) Barah Brigade**, the training combined classroom sessions with practical exercises on search and rescue, first aid, fire safety, rope rescue, evacuation, and disaster coordination, equipping participants with essential life-saving skills and strengthening inter-agency collaboration for effective emergency response and community resilience.
